We are proud to support local producers and growers – reducing food miles and supporting our local economy.
Our takeaway range of pies, pasties and freshly-made sandwiches, tea and coffee will help fuel you for the day ahead.

Delivery days
Bowland – Wednesday for mince, bacon, chicken and sausages.
Country Harvest – Wednesday and Saturday for bread and teacakes.
Diggles – Thursday for cooked meats.
Kitridding – Friday for bacon, cottage pie, ham and sausages.
Fresh meat
Only the best will do, with our meat coming from local producers and butchers all based within a 10 mile radius, including Bowland Pork and Cornvale Fine Foods.
Fresh fruit and vegetables
See what seasonal vegetables we have on offer this week. Buy loose potatoes, mushrooms and carrots all year round.
Cheese and dairy
We stock a select range of cheeses, as well as essentials such as yoghurt, butter and milk.
Cooked meats
Whether you’re looking for a tasty sandwich filling or pizza topping, check out our range of cooked meats including local suppliers such as Diggles and Kitridding.
Tea and coffee
Our range includes fine coffee beans from Penningtons, local coffee roasters and tea merchants.

Start the day right with something special on your toast!
Bread
As well as the usual brands you would expect to find instore, we also stock a range of bread and rolls from Country Harvest.
Cakes and biscuits
If you have a sweet tooth, check out our cakes from Grandma Wild’s or treat yourself to some Burton Village Shop biscuits!
Fresh pastries
Perhaps we can tempt you with one of our freshly-baked cake slices, pastries or another baked treat when you visit – look out for what’s under the cloche today!

We can order in magazines and newspapers for you. Simply let us know which title(s) you would like to order and we’ll get it in for you!
